26.05.2010 HUNGARY - ROMANIA FAN TOUR
The Time has come for the new Iron Maiden tour. After the successful trip to Serbia last year, metal bar "The Black Lodge" and "Fan Club Iron Maiden Bulgaria" are organizing another trip for the band's new tour. This time the trip will be more massive and dedicated to the hardcore maiden fans. It will cover a whole weekend and two concerts of the band. The first show will be on the Sziget festival – Hungary on 14-th August. The second in Cluj-Napoca - Romania (Transylvania) on 15-th August. The single day Sziget festival ticket costs 45 euros (90 BGN) and is on sale from Eventim network and in the The Black Lodge Bar. Tickets for the Romanian show are on sale exclusive from the promoters site www.servuscluj.ro for 20 euros (40 BGN). The total cost for the transport is 75 euro (150 BGN).

14.04.2010 MAIDEN DAY PARTY
The movie premiere of FLIGHT 666 on April 21 last year was celebrated as world IRON MAIDEN day. The Bulgarian fan club will celebrate quite properly that day with a huge party. The venue is metal bar "The Black Lodge" in Sofia. The party starts at 20:00.

Since yesterday when we posted the possible titles of the songs for the album The Final Frontier we received a lot of letters from fans asking us for more information and even angry mails saying that our information is fake.
As we said yesterday when we posted the titles: The information is still unofficial. and we cannot be 100% that its true.. We just try to inform YOU the fans for any possible information.
Unfortunately we will have to wait for official announcement for the full album details and we hope this will happen really soon…

"We're still working on the set list for these summer shows, but this time it will cover the whole history of the band, and I can hint that we will be playing a taster from the new album. We already have the designs for the new Final Frontier stage show which we are building to bring out with us, so this summer tour will be a bit of a preview for the fans. It's certainly looking very spectacular at this stage and with a brand new Eddie and an amazing light show!

IRON MAIDEN are pleased to announce that their forthcoming new studio album will be called 'THE FINAL FRONTIER', and is expected be released late summer of this year.
The announcement comes with news of a North American Tour with Very Special Guests Dream Theater to open in Dallas, Texas, on 9th June and finish in Washington D.C. on 20th July, making it Maiden's most extensive North American tour in many years.
Following these shows in USA and Canada The Final Frontier World Tour will travel back to Europe for a few selected major festival and stadium shows with the band planning to continue to many other countries in 2011

08.10.2009 Iron Maiden's 'Ed Force One' Will Fly Again
According to U.K.'s Rock Radio, IRON MAIDEN manager Rod Smallwood has revealed the band is planning to tour on Ed Force One next year.
MAIDEN became the first outfit in history to travel round the world in a customized jet during their "Somewhere Back in Time" tour, as detailed in award-winning movie "Flight 666".
The Boeing 757 carried musicians, crew, gear and guests with singer Bruce Dickinson, a qualified airline pilot, at the controls.
Speaking in the Iron Maiden Fan Club magazine, the manager said that the band will spend the period before Christmas in writing.Than they will take Christmas off and after that into recording. Maiden will finish the album in time to be out next year. Rod also said that the band will visit some new places on the next tour and some other that they have missed on the previous one.
As we've done in recent years, we're throwing the design of the official Iron Maiden xmas card open to you guys. This is the card that gets sent to FC members and to friends of the band.
Each year, the standard has been amazingly high and we've had a real challenge agreeing on a winner.
This year, we'd like a card with a Flight 666 theme. We'll leave it as vague as that - let your imagination run free!
Send us your designs - conforming to the specifications below - and the winner will be picked by Rod, be printed and sent to thousands of people. The winner will get a credit on the card, an Iron Maiden football shirt signed by all the members of the band and some other goodies from the Official Iron Maiden Shop. We'll also award prizes to any runners up we particularly like, and even if your card isn't chosen to be printed we'll be using our favourites on the homepage throughout December.
Your design needs to be A5 size (about 21 by 15 cm) - it's up to you which way round it goes (portrait or landscape). The rest is entirely up to you.
Now here's the important stuff - as the design will be printed, you need to make sure you have a high-resolution image that you can send us if we choose your card. If you're hand painting or drawing, no problem, but if you're creating your design from scratch in Photoshop or whatever, please make sure you do it at 600dpi and not at the lower resolution you'd use for things that are going to be displayed only on a monitor. Keep the original in a very safe place, and send us a copy.

17.06.2009 NEW INTERVIEW FOR IRON MAIDEN BULGARIA

11.06.2009 IRON MAIDEN WILL START WORKING ON NEW ALBUM IN NOVEMBER
In Interview for Rock Hard magazine Nicko McBrain has revealed details around the future plans of the band and the new Iron Maiden album Here is part of his interview:
Rock Hard: Is Iron Maiden working on a new album?
McBrain: “We start working on a new record in November. We've got November and the first couple of weeks of December booked into writing. We're gonna do a new album in January 2010, and we should tour with that in late summer, fall time. That's the plan. Hopefully, God willing, everybody's health is good and we can get on with it and get out there again.”

Celebrating the eighth birthday of the magazine Pro-Rock the ex- singer of the legendary Iron Maiden Paul Di'anno will fly especially from London for a concert at the club Blue Box in Sofia, Bulgaria!
Support bands will be Smallman and Lavina. Paul himself promises to please fans with many classics from the early period of Iron Maiden and his solo projects - Di'Anno, Battlezone and Killers. After the gig all fans who bought tickets for the show will be able to visit the after party in The Black Lodge Club Expect more details about the show, and some surprisesfor the fans who get a ticket for the show.

19.02.2009 MAIDEN STORM TO A BRIT FOR BEST LIVE ACT
Iron Maiden tonight pulled off a stunning victory by a reported landslide at the UK's prestigious Brit Awards when they were voted 'Best British Live Act' by the public and their fans ahead of Coldplay, Elbow, The Verve and Scouting For Girls.
Maiden are one of Britain's biggest International acts ever, selling over 70 million albums and breaking ticket records around the globe with their enormous live following. Last summer they staged a spectacular British show at Twickenham Stadium, one of 90 shows in 38 countries on the current "Somewhere Back in Time" tour, playing to almost two million fans.
11.02.2009 INCREDIBLE SHOW IN BELGRADE - SERBIA
Exhausted by the traveling and hustle, and of course filled with many good emotions and satisfaction, we returned from Serbia.
Very briefly I will try to explain everything, but doubt that I can describe everything that happened to us all these 24 hours. The Bulgarian fans departed from Sofia at 7:00 AM morning and we were in Belgrade about 16:20 PM.This delay was caused by the actions of the Serbian customs authorities, who examined each of us as a potential drug dealer, and then escort us with police cars everywhere, and didn’t allow us to stop, even to go to the toilet.
On Each gas station there was a police patrol who somehow seem to guard the entrance preventing us to stop.It was Like going to a concert in a Communist block country in the 80's. This did not darkened our mood and we were not too late for the concert amd live live the magic that titled Somewhere Back In Time. Nearly 2 hour set contained incredible Iron Maiden classics, some of which are played live maybe for the last time.

Due to demand yet another Brazilian show has been added to the tour -- this will be at The Mineirinho in Belo Horizonte on Wednesday March 18th and will be the first time the band have played in this city.

22.01.2009 IRON MAIDEN: FLIGHT 666
British heavy rock legends, Iron Maiden, in association with Banger Productions, EMI Records, Universal (USA) and Arts Alliance Media, announce that they will be releasing a feature length documentary film into cinemas worldwide on April 21st 2009.
As you may know from Rod's tour diaries, Iron Maiden have been working on a feature length documentary. Entitled 'IRON MAIDEN: FLIGHT 666', the movie follows the band on the first leg of their Somewhere Back In Time World Tour in February and March of 2008 as they experienced the most ambitious and adventurous tour in rock history, and will be released in April 2009 in association with EMI Records and Universal in the USA.
The Maiden tour plan was something that had never been attempted before on such a grand scale. Circumnavigating the globe, the band flew in a specially customised Boeing 757 airliner with their crew and 12 tons of music and stage equipment on board, playing 23 sold out stadium and arena shows in 13 countries in just 45 days, travelling 70,000km and performing to almost half a million fans.
The band were accompanied everywhere by award-winning documentary makers Banger Productions from Toronto in Canada, who have received international critical acclaim for their previous movies "Metal, A Headbangers Journey" and recently "Global Metal". Filmmakers Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn and their team bring an intimate behind the scenes view of this remarkable journey, with a close look at the logistics involved and following Team Maiden in the cockpit, on the plane and on and offstage, getting to the heart of this global adventure of a band that has very rarely even let cameras backstage before.
Shot in High Definition and with superb 5.1 surround sound, mixed by the bands producer Kevin 'Caveman' Shirley, FLIGHT 666 brings to the screen all the drama, excitement and hysteria that followed the band around the world every time 'Ed Force One' touched down in a new country. Maiden have been nominated for the 'BEST BRITISH LIVE ACT' at the forthcoming prestigious music industry 'Brits' award alongside, Coldplay , Elbow, Scouting For Girls and The Verve.
Commenting last night at the nomination party, Rod said: "Iron Maiden's secret weapon is our fans. Anyone who's been to one of our shows knows that they're the most passionate and devoted fans on the planet, making the incredible atmosphere at our shows. To be nominated for Best Live Act at the Brits is as much a recognition of them as it is of us. So for all of them, Up The Irons!"

14.01.2009 The start of the tour is close...new dates announced
On Tuesday March 10th Maiden will play at the 30,000 capacity Aucas Stadium in the capital city Quito in Ecuador. This will be the band's first ever show in this country.
Meanwhile, 27 days remain until the beginning of the last part of Somwhere Back In Time World Tour. The start will be in Belgrade - Serbia and support will Lauren Harris’s band
